Legal grounds for using your data

Orders and quotations

Deliveries

In order to deliver your order to the correct address and on the correct date, we need to have your details. We pass these on to our transportation partners to ensure fast and proper handling.

Returns

Exchanges and purchases

It is possible that you need to exchange something or that we buy something from you. In these cases, we need information from you. For example, when you complete our online purchase form, so that we can process this exchange/purchase in our administration.

Customer service

We are happy to help you with any questions you may have about your order or quotation, help you resolve problems or inform you fully about our products. In order to deal with your question or complaint, we may ask you for your order number, name, e-mail address, telephone number and other information that might make dealing with the issue easier. We will record this information in a note so that you do not have to repeat this the next time. In your account, we keep data on previous orders, quotations, returns, e-mail preferences as well as personal data. This is handy as you don't need to enter this information every time. We also include this information on the invoice and take the delivery address from this information. You will not be able to change the invoice afterwards. We may also use your telephone number to keep you updated about the progress of your order or to request missing information from you. If we are not sure about something, we will give you a call. In some cases, it is possible that our carrier needs to call you to arrange the delivery with you. This is not something we need to be involved with. This saves both of us time and ensures a fast delivery! We will not call you without a valid reason.

Your password will be saved according to a secret code. This code is so secret, that even we can't see what your password is. The code verifies whether the password you enter when you log in is correct. If you have problems logging in, or if you can't work it out, please contact our customer service!

 

Newsletters and e-mails

We will send you different types of e-mails. You will receive e-mails in response to your order, for example, information about the order, a review request or questions on product satisfaction. You can also subscribe to our newsletters. You will receive an e-mail with the latest news and offers no more than twice a week. We will not send the newsletter without your consent. If you don't want to receive any further newsletters, it’s easy to unsubscribe. This can be done via the link at the bottom of the e-mail, via My Account or via customer service.

Personal advice

When you visit Kruizinga.com, we will recognise you as a unique visitor and keep a record of your behaviour on our website. Your online behaviour could include which pages you visited, which products your viewed or which links you clicked on. This way we can analyse the behaviour on Kruizinga.com and show content that suits your needs. We also use this information to personalise our ads. Cameras

Our office is equipped with cameras. This is important to ensure your safety and that of our employees and products. We do not store camera images for longer than 8 weeks, unless there is a reason to do so and we see something suspicious that we need to investigate further or if we need to retain the images for longer because of a legal obligation.

 

We may also be under a legal obligation to disclose your information, for example, if we suspect fraud or if you have given your consent to the use of your data, such as when you sign up for our newsletter. Of course, we will keep our records up-to-date.
